These terms explain the agreement between you and Sukjai when you use our website or bring a watch to us for repair. We've aimed to keep the language clear and straightforward.

Last Updated: 12 May 2025 Effective Date: 12 May 2025 Governing Law: Kingdom of Thailand

1. Definitions

Throughout this document, the following terms have the meanings given here.

  • "Sukjai" / "we" / "us" / "our" — the watch repair and restoration workshop at 167 Phaya Thai Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand.
  • "Website" — the website at sukjaix.biz and all related pages.
  • "You" / "User" — any person who visits the website or uses our repair services.
  • "Service" — any watch repair, overhaul, or restoration work we undertake, as described on the website.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions in their current form.
  • "Content" — all text, images, logos, and materials published on the website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By visiting our website or submitting an enquiry, you indicate that you have read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Our services are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age, or who have the legal capacity to enter into agreements in their jurisdiction. By using the website, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

If you are submitting an enquiry on behalf of another person (for example, regarding a watch belonging to a family member), you confirm that you have their permission to share any relevant information with us.

3. Our Services

Sukjai provides professional mechanical watch repair, overhaul, and restoration services in Bangkok, Thailand. Current services are described on the website and include Gentle Refresh, Full Overhaul, and Delicate Restoration.

All service descriptions on the website are intended as a general guide. The precise scope of work for any individual watch is determined after inspection and discussed with you before we proceed.

We reserve the right to decline a service request at our discretion — for example, if we determine a watch requires specialist expertise beyond what we offer, or if parts are unavailable. In such cases we will communicate our assessment clearly.

4. Your Responsibilities

When using this website

  • Use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the website or its underlying systems.
  • Provide accurate information when submitting an enquiry through our contact form.

When using our repair service

  • You confirm that you are the rightful owner of any watch submitted for service, or have the owner's permission.
  • Please inform us of any known damage, modifications, or prior repair attempts before we begin work.
  • Respond promptly to our communications — particularly when we need approval to proceed with a step or present findings.
  • Collect your watch within a reasonable time once we notify you of its completion.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, imagery, logo, and design — is owned by or licensed to Sukjai. Nothing on this website transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You may view and print pages from this website for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Any other use — including reproduction, redistribution, or incorporation into other materials — requires our written permission.

Watch brands, trademarks, and model names referenced on this website belong to their respective owners. Their mention is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

6. Payment Terms

Prices for our services are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are as stated on our website at the time of your enquiry.

Quotation and approval

For all services, we will confirm the scope and cost with you before beginning work. If additional issues are found during inspection, we will seek your approval before proceeding.

Payment methods

Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of collection. Payment is due on collection of the watch unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Cancellation and refunds

If you wish to cancel before work has begun, please contact us as soon as possible. If work is underway, costs reasonably incurred to that point may apply. We aim to handle such situations with flexibility and fairness.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Timelines

Estimated service timelines (such as "under two weeks" for a Gentle Refresh or "five to eight weeks" for Delicate Restoration) are given in good faith. They may extend if parts need sourcing, if additional issues are found, or during periods of high workshop demand. We will keep you informed of any changes.

Watch condition on receipt

We document the condition of your watch when it arrives. This record is shared with you and forms part of the service agreement. It is intended to give you confidence and to protect both parties.

Parts and materials

Where parts need replacing, we will discuss options with you — including original, equivalent, or period-appropriate alternatives depending on the watch. No replacement parts are fitted without your knowledge.

Uncollected watches

We will notify you when your watch is ready. If a watch remains uncollected for more than 90 days after notification without contact, we reserve the right to take reasonable steps to recover storage costs, having made good-faith efforts to reach you.

8. Disclaimers

Our website and its content are provided for informational purposes. While we take care to keep information accurate and current, we do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will always be available.

Watch repair involves inherent unpredictability — particularly with aged or vintage movements. We work with care and skill, but we cannot warrant any specific outcome for every piece, particularly where the watch's prior history is unknown or where components are worn beyond effective restoration.

Nothing on this website constitutes professional advice specific to your watch. For significant decisions about valuable timepieces, we encourage you to discuss your concerns directly with us before proceeding.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Sukjai's liability for any claim arising from the use of our website or services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses — including loss of use, sentimental loss, or consequential financial loss — arising from our services or from the use of this website, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Force majeure: we are not in breach of these terms for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as natural events, supply chain disruptions, or utility failures.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Sukjai harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the website, or any false or misleading information you provide in connection with a service request.

11. Termination

Either party may end a service arrangement at any time, subject to any work already in progress. We will communicate clearly and handle any such situation with respect and fairness.

Clauses relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive any termination of the agreement.

12. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

Before resorting to formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us directly. Most concerns can be addressed through open, respectful conversation — which we are always willing to have.

Reach us at [email protected] or by phone at +66 2 459 6824.

13. General Provisions

  • Entire agreement: These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sukjai regarding use of this website.
  • Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Failure by either party to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right for the future.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a business transfer, provided your rights are not adversely affected.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may add a notice to the website.

Your continued use of the website or our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree with a change, please discontinue use of the website.
